What terminal are you using? 'cygwin'? That's the default. It's unlikely that your BSD box knows it if you haven't told it about it. Do
so or try a related terminal type.
Yes. My environment variable TERM is set to "cygwin" on the BSD Unix shell account. The BSD Unix shell account uses the "cygwin" termcap entry that is found in the /etc/termcap file published by cygwin.com.
