i.e. when thread t exited, so did python.
Doing the same thing on Linux, python does not exit:
% uname -srm Linux 2.6.6-1-386 i686 % python2.3 Python 2.3.4 (#2, Jul 5 2004, 09:15:05) [GCC 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-2)] on linux2 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
