This sounds like the same problem I reported last week, where recently on text-mount volumes rsync can't recognise its own results. The only change from 2.6.2-1 to 2.6.2-2 was 'a SECURITY FIX', seems unlikely to provoke a problem in this area . . . ht -- Henry S.
