On Wednesday, July 28, Scott Evans asked: > Has anyone successfully ported sz/rz to Cygwin?
I searched earlier posts, and it is clear that it had been done. So I tried grabbing rzsz.sip from www.omen.com and building it. No problem. Just modify the makefile to add .exe to the executable names when calling ln. I attached the "diff -c" output so you can patch it. This adds a new "cygwin" target. Actually, testing it was more complicated than I expected. In the end, I set up sshd and used zssh (downloaded from sourceforge). In fact, zssh comes with another flavor of rz/sz that builds just fine via ./configure && make. -Jerry Williams
