Just upgraded to 1.5.8 on my W2k laptop and for some strange reason ( I was thinking graphics) and tried to run insight and then just plain old gdb and received the following error for either (posting here purely for reference in case it is important):
~ $ gdb 5 [main] ? 1616 cygheap_fixup_in_child: Couldn't reserve space for cygwin' s heap (0x616E0000 <0xC90000>) in child, Win32 error 487 d:\cygwin\bin\gdb.exe (1616): *** m.AllocationBase 0x0, m.BaseAddress 0x616E0000 , m.RegionSize 0x1AA0000, m.State 0x10000 d:\cygwin\bin\gdb.exe (1616): *** m.AllocationBase 0x0, m.BaseAddress 0x616E0000 , m.RegionSize 0x1AA0000, m.State 0x10000 ~ $ Sure it is something I did but to test I was going to reinstall 1.5.7 but when I ran setup it said the prev version was 1.5.5. I was sure I was running 1.5.7 - was it not considered stable enough to be listed as the prev. -- Brian Keener [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
