can anyone help me with the follwoing?

- I have installed cygwin works fine for most things a great package

- I am now trying to install the GD.pm perl module from CPAN but have discovered (by
trawling the cygwin archoves) that Perl has a problem with forks etc and the solution
is to use 'rebase'

- I have rebase install via cygwin site but how do I use it?

- I have noticed from earlier emails that if I am not careful using rebaseall may
cause problems

- so what is the safe way to use rebase?

- do I need to use it everytime I install a new package, dlls etc?

- should I be using rebase rather than rebaseall? if yes, what are the required values
for the options (-b etc)?

I am sure many of you have solved this - any clues?
