I'll try different systems ..I ran a variation of the above for three days without fail so I think I
can safely say that I can't reproduce this problem.OK, this one is a Win2000SP3, AMD XP1700, 512MB, cygcheck attached. With Snapshot 20040221 I get: $ ./t.sh > freeze.out (snip) Failed after 1487 runs
OK, new test, again the XP home Notebook with cygwin1.dll build from cvs this morning with debugging:
First run: $ ./t.sh > freeze.out make: *** wait: Interrupted system call. Stop. make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... Failed after 46 runs
Second run was running for a while, I got bored and started two additional scripts. The third script failed with: $ ./t.sh > freeze3.out make: /: Command not found make: *** [1.pp] Error 127 make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... Failed after 949 runs
More than 3000 runs in all three scripts.
Drats, this seems to be very hard to trigger.
