Most likely. It's usually a good idea to provide a simple testcase that
reproduces the problem. Here's one that did it for me (with the output):
$ perl -e 'print "all:;[EMAIL PROTECTED] && \\\n"; foreach $i (0000..9999) { print
"\techo -n $i && \\\n"; } print "\ttrue\n";' | make -f -
make: *** [all] Error 255
$
