Hi Folks, Compiled programs with Cygwin-1.3.22-1, but now, even with fresh Cygwin installs, I am getting errors like :
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.2/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: warning: cannot find entry symbol _WinMainCRTStartup; defaulting to 00401000 and: Info: resolving _optarg by linking to __imp__optarg (auto-import) The resulting binaries run, but are not quite working :(. I expect it may have something to do with needed to rebuild some of the libraries for the new CygWin, but everything not from the CygWin install has been compiled locally. Simple example: #include <stdio.h> int main(int argc, char ** argv) { printf("Hello\n"); return(4); } gcc -mwindows -o hello hello.c gives: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.2/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: warning: cannot find entry symbol _WinMainCRTStartup; defaulting to 00401000 Simple solution :)?, JES -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
