I can confirm that the 2003-Aug-23 snapshot fixes a similar (or the
same) problem which occurred when building procmail:
gcc -O procmail.o cstdio.o common.o exopen.o goodies.o locking.o mailfold.o
foldinfo.o misc.o pipes.o regexp.o robust.o sublib.o acommon.o mcommon.o lastdirsep.o
authenticate.o lmtp.o memblk.o variables.o from.o comsat.o -o procmail.exe -s -lm -lc
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.2/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.2/../../../libm.a(cygwin_crt0.o): illegal symbol
index 12 in relocs
