I want to install vnc under cygwin. I found a message posted on 03/23/03, but I would like to know if there are any new developments or if there is a URL where I can get more guidance. Thank you all.
Usually, it's considered polite to post a link to the message you refer to. I'm going to wager you meant this one:

However, if this is the message to which you refer, I'm confused as to why you didn't at least email cygwin-xfree list instead. Seems more appropriate to me.
Personally, I think the message as the URL above says it all, with the exception that cygipc is now available as a package in the Cygwin distribution. So that's your answer. If you disagree, I recommend you follow-up on the cygwin-xfree list. I've reset the reply-to to facilitate that.
