The archives already show email addresses slightly obfuscated by replacing the '@' with 'at' and the '.' with 'dot' and adding spaces.

You should never be surprised to receive spam on an email address you use to post to a ML, that's just how the world works. Use a throwaway account if it bothers you. I also suggest SpamAssassin.
