It seems that there is still a bug in rxvt with regard to (xterm-like) selection using buttons 1 and 3. In xterm, you can select a place with button 1 and select another place with button 3 and then paste the whole range. With rxvt, you can select a range in the same manner, but what you get seems not only incomplete, but nondeterministic.
