Version 12.1.1-1 of "python-imaging" has been uploaded.
python-imaging (aka Pillow) is a fork or the Python Imaging Library
(PIL).
This update includes packages for Python 3.12 only, as Pillow no
longer supports Python 3.9. As such, I need the python39-imaging and
python39- imaging-tk packages to be marked as obsolete to avoid
warnings from calm.
I've taken care of this for you.
You should modify your packaging to simply not generate packages for
python versions unsupported by upstream.
I'm assuming the existing (11.3.0-1 and earlier) versions of
python39-imaging{,-tk} still work with python39. They will continue to
linger in the package repository until such time as we do a purge of
that python version...
Thanks. I thought I had modified the packaging, I shall take another
look at it.
