Short answer, it is now default behavior, option was retired. I
suppose it means adapt config file accordingly, because apparently
won't just ignore mystery options (no "nonstrict" option?).

Here we went from 4.9 to 8.0. Not yet the latest (8.4), an issue
preventing a successful build has yet to be resolved.
