You can use screen or tmux at the other end of that connection so you can reconnect and you can run the connection over mosh so it will be more resilient to such events. > I didn't mention that in my first message. Find the "energy saving plan" in the settings and tell it to never go to sleep except perhaps on closing the lid or pressing the power button.
