I have a Danish keyboard, and I got it to work by editing the startxwin.sh script to include the following: # Set keyboard layout to Danish. setxkbmap -layout dk > > Thanks in advance! > > salvo I assume that by substituting the 'dk' with 'it' you will get an Italian keyboard layout.
