I'm honestly not sure what system config I'd need to check here. That doesn't seem useful, sadly: as far as I can tell, cron has no dependencies, so it's not clear to me why netlogon is getting involved at all. $ sc qc cron [SC] QueryServiceConfig SUCCESS SERVICE_NAME: cron TYPE : 10 WIN32_OWN_PROCESS START_TYPE : 2 AUTO_START ERROR_CONTROL : 1 NORMAL BINARY_PATH_NAME : C:\cygwin64\bin\cygrunsrv.exe LOAD_ORDER_GROUP : TAG : 0 DISPLAY_NAME : Cron daemon DEPENDENCIES : SERVICE_START_NAME : EUROPE\adinwoodie I get the same results running that in Cygwin Bash and in PowerShell, and with either started normally or running with Administrator permissions. -- Problem reports: https://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: https://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: https://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: https://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
