The first paste from my GNU/Linux konsole session into emacs-x11 running on Cygwin and displaying on the GNU/Linux display gets Emacs into a spin loop. I used to be able to C-g my way out of it, but since the latest major Emacs update I need to send Emacs a USR2 signal, which produces this backtrace:
