According to the discussion at http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.os.cygwin/148438, file name completion depends on the preceding command if bash-completion is installed. Since I didn't want this behaviour, I uninstalled bash-completion. However, I just noticed that completion doesn't work when trying to type the command:
'rm' ~/tmp/tmp.tar But it works the command is not adorned with single quotes. Is there anything I can do to make completion independent of the command and how it is typed? -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
