I am using cygwin on a Dell windows 7 laptop, running X windows through startx command with fvwm2 window manager.
The laptop display is turned off after a period of inactivity. When I log back in, the X session and all clients inside it are white. I have no problems with the X session prior to when display was turned off. tail of /var/log/Xwin/XWin.0.log: [ 19432.919] winClipboardProc - XOpenDisplay () returned and successfully opened the display.
