I selected mingw64-x86_64-gcc instead of mingw64-x86_64-gcc-core, thinking it was some sort of umbrella package, failing to notice the "(source)" in the description. mingw64-x86_64-gcc-core does indeed depend on mingw64-x86_64-binutils.
