Hi everybody. I need to install gtkmm, but I,m not able to do it directly beacause my Internet connection is too slow.
I've tried to follow the instructions listed here: http://sourceware.org/cygwinports/ but without success because the ftp connection to ftp://sourceware. org/pub/cygwinports dies every time, downloading nothing. I've also tried to use the mirrors (http://sourceware.org/mirrors.html ), but unfortunately no one of them has gtkmm inside. I have a better connection at work and I thought to download the necessary there, bring it at home and install from a local directory. Can someone explain to me how exactly do this? What have I to download, where have I to put it in my Windows system and how to install it with setup.exe exactly? setup.exe tell me that I need the following dependencies: libatkmm1.6- devel (2.20.3-1) C++ bindings for atk-1.x (development) Required by: libgtkmm2.4-devel libatkmm1.6_1 (2.20.3-1) C++ bindings for atk-1.x (runtime) Required by: libgtkmm2.4_1, libatkmm1.6-devel libcairomm1.0- devel (1.9.6-1) C++ bindings for the cairo graphics engine (development) Required by: libgtkmm2.4-devel, libpangomm1.4-devel libcairomm1.0_1 (1.9.6-1) C++ bindings for the cairo graphics engine (runtime) Required by: libgtkmm2.4_1, libcairomm1.0-devel, libpangomm1. 4_1 libglibmm2.4-devel (2.24.2-1) C++ bindings for glib-2.4 (development) Required by: libgtkmm2.4-devel, libatkmm1.6-devel, libpangomm1.4-devel libglibmm2.4-doc (2.24.2-1) C++ bindings for glib- 2.4 (API documentation) Required by: libgtkmm2.4-doc, libpangomm1.4- doc libglibmm2.4_1 (2.24.2-1) C++ bindings for glib-2.4 (runtime) Required by: libgtkmm2.4_1, libglibmm2.4-devel, libatkmm1.6_1, libpangomm1.4_1 libpangomm1.4-devel (2.26.2-1) C++ bindings for pango- 1.x (development) Required by: libgtkmm2.4-devel libpangomm1.4-doc (2.26.2-1) C++ bindings for pango-1.x (API documentation) Required by: libgtkmm2.4-doc libpangomm1.4_1 (2.26.2-1) C++ bindings for pango- 1.x (runtime) Thanks in advance, Alessandro -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
