I've researched this and found some threads, but no answers. In a nut shell, I get the following:
gcc -c -DPERL_USE_SAFE_PUTENV -U__STRICT_ANSI__ -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -I/usr/local/include -DUSEIMPORTLIB -O3 -DVERSION=\"1.06\" -DXS_VERSION=\"1.06\" "-I/usr/lib/perl5/5.10/i686-cygwin/CORE" Strip.c Strip.xs:2:20: EXTERN.h: No such file or directory Strip.xs:3:18: perl.h: No such file or directory Strip.xs:4:18: XSUB.h: No such file or directory Since the files in question are in fact in the include directory mentioned I'm at a loss to see the error. The above was after the standard Perl Makefile.pl make I ran into this first by way of: cpan HTML::Strip And thought to run the install by hand as a check--- no better (in fact same results) this way. --hsm -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
