Chris, On WinME I didn't noticed anything special yesterday (from cvs). Motivated by your e-mail I just updated cvs and rebuilt. Things seem to run normal, except sometimes under gdb, see below. Pierre ~: gdb -nw id GNU gdb 5.0 (20010428-3) <snip> (gdb) run Starting program: /usr/bin/id.exe 170 [unknown (0xF087FF37)] ID 35649333 cygthread::stub: errnoneous thread ac tivation C:\PROGRAM FILES\CYGWIN\BIN\ID.EXE: *** WFSO failed, Win32 error 6 <HERE ID HANGED AND I KILLED IT FROM WINDOWS> Program exited normally. (gdb) (gdb) (gdb) (gdb) run Starting program: /usr/bin/id.exe uid=510(pierre) gid=544(unknown) groups=544(unknown),544(unknown) Program exited normally. (gdb) quit Subsequent uses of gdb run OK ~: gdb -nw id GNU gdb 5.0 (20010428-3) <snip> (gdb) run Starting program: /usr/bin/id.exe uid=510(pierre) gid=544(unknown) groups=544(unknown),544(unknown) Program exited normally. (gdb) P.S.: my spelling checker noticed "errnoneous". -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
