I am assuming that notepad++ does not understand paths like /cygdrive/c/filename.txt and /proc/cpuinfo (it has no hope on this one) $ man cygpath > this works, I just want to use Notepad++ instead of standard > Windows editor > ("notepad++ ./file.ext" or something like that). Where I can add this > functionality? Thanks. Notepad works because notepad.exe is in the path. You may want to write a wrapper and put it in you path due to the windows - cygwin path format difference. > -- > View this message in context: > http://old.nabble.com/Text-editor-with-shell-integration-tp284 72301p28472301.html > Sent from the Cygwin list mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > -- > Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html > FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ > Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html > Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple > -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- - - - Jason Pyeron PD Inc. http://www.pdinc.us - - Principal Consultant 10 West 24th Street #100 - - +1 (443) 269-1555 x333 Baltimore, Maryland 21218 - - - -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- This message is copyright PD Inc, subject to license 20080407P00. -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
