I tried re-sending my questions in a number of different ways; different subject, reduced amount of example error messages and so forth. What finally worked is that I re-sent the entire thing and did *not* attach the cygcheck.out file. Not sure why the spam filters didn't like it. I'm also not sure how to send my cygcheck.out file as directed in the page on reporting problems. Hopefully I can figure that part out later. Although the link is fairly useful information, I really think the "Be prepared to be mocked, if any of the above needs to be repeated to you, however." is a bit extreme.
