No. I can't reproduce this issue. The only way to reproduce it is to switch on UAC, mount the drives in the non-elevated session, and start an elevated shell. And even then there's a registry key which allows to change that behaviour. I don't know its name off-hand, but it shouldn't be too hard to find in the web.
