Sorry I got it backwards; thanks for the tip, and for looking into it. Yes, I am sure Cwd is tricky to get right! The first change is cygwin-specific, so might be less controversial. Not so certain about the other one -- might need to be conditioned on cygwin. I don't know much about perl, really, and the Cwd change is something I seem to recall I picked up from an email in an archive on svk ...
