Hi: When Cygwin 1.7 displaying Chinese characters in GBK charset encoding, the output are empty/white-spaces. I can't know whether or not there are characters in it.
Whey Cygwin 1.5 displaying Chinese characters in UTF-8 charset encoding, the output are malformed characters, so I can know there are characters in it. Does Cygwin 1.7 ignored the GBK Chinese characters?
