Larry, It worked! Thank you so much for all your help! The private key in "id_rsa" file in the .ssh folder is the one used for authentication apparently. I really appreciate your vigilance with this issue. I did get good help from Julio, and Mark and Dave K did try and help, but you were there consistently and I just want to acknowledge that and express my thanks. This is a basic tenant of public key authentication. You only want the public information known to non-local machines.
