Hi,
I just finished a new install of cygwin-1.7. It seems to be working
fine now, but the "clear" command seems to be missing:
$ clear
bash: clear: command not found
Is this expected? Was I supposed to check some special package during
installation?
<http://cygwin.com/cgi-bin2/package-grep.cgi?grep=%2Fbin%2Fclear.exe>
Thanks, I can get it there.
In case there's any confusion over the results of the above, I'm not
recommending you _get_ the package from anywhere in particular. I'm
showing you how to find the package a particular tool of interest is in.
But why is it necessary? Could it be a problem with the repository I used?
It's possible. You'd have to look at your 'setup.log.full' to see if there
were any clear problems with the install.
