-mno-cygwin does not work for g++ and g77

The integrated MinGW works well when calling gcc -mno-cygwin, e.g. for

/* Hello World in C */
#include <stdio.h>
int main()
{
  printf("Hello World!\n");
  return 0;
}

Unfortunately the library and include paths do not seem to be set correctly
for g++, e.g. for

// Hello World in C++
#include <iostream>
int main()
{
  cout << "Hello World!\n";
  return 0;
}

$ g++ -mno-cygwin hello.cpp
hello.cpp:2: iostream: No such file or directory

$ g++ -mno-cygwin -I/usr/include/g++-3 hello.cpp
/usr/lib/libstdc++.a(iostream.o)(.text+0x148):iostream.cc: undefined
reference to `_imp___ctype_'

Also g77 -mno-cygwin fails to load the correct libraries, e.g. for

C Hello World in Fortran
      PROGRAM HELLO
      PRINT *,'Hello World!'
      STOP
      END

Should not the default include and lib paths be set automatically by the
g++ and g77 drivers?
