check out the listserver over there -> http://www.openssh.com/list.html general ssh http://tech.erdelynet.com/ssh-l.asp more pacific to cygwin's install of sshd you might be able to search on your error and find your answers. I know its brough up many times. http://tech.erdelynet.com/cygwin-sshd.asp a good walk though of setting it up
