If you received Cygwin through another source (i.e. not via www.cygwin.com), that source is your point for support. You should contact them. Cygwin 1.1.8 is an obsolete version of the Cygwin DLL. The current version as available from www.cygwin.com is 1.3.10. If you care to install the current version from www.cygwin.com and see any issues, you can report them here. Please, if you do this, make sure the version of Cygwin you installed with NNDK is completely removed from your system. If you don't do this prior to installing from www.cygwin.com, you *will* have problems.
