Thanks, Robert, I'll look into the cygwin--developers archives. Building the debug cygwin is one of the next steps on our list. One point of clarification, though. We're running parallel rshs into the machines to run single-threaded makes from each rsh. This is different from running make and telling it to run and manage parallel submakes.
