+------------------- | ntea just uses the HPFS like extended attributes to simulate | file permissions. ntsec uses the NTFS ACLs to set real | permissions. +-------------------
Because I have had CYGWIN='ntea' in ~/.profile since the first day of installing cygwin, if I now switch over to 'ntsec', the permissions look wrong in the output of `ls -la`. Is there any way to overcome this problem ? -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
