I think ports cluster is needed, if there is some ports that depends on base ncurses (we have years of stale ncurses in base and it's possible that some ports depends or say, misuse that fact)... If there is no API/ABI change in the new ncurses then it would be Ok to just go ahead and commit the change, however, we have 15K+ ports so making sure is mostly a safety belt :-) > Calling -current@, I agree.
