Why not import NetBSD's simple pam(8) manpage? IMHO, this breaks POLA somehow: users may expect to do "man pam" and get a brief summary along with pointers to others manpages, instead of the PAM API. I saw a pretty good and complete article in share/doc/, but this must not replace the usual documentation.
