It may be the case that I missed a directory or two which still is listed as OLD_FILES instead of OLD_DIRS, and maybe there's a file or two lurking in the list which doesn't belongs where it is... It would be nice of users of the corresponding WITHOUT_ knobs could check this. There should be no file listed by check-old when the files aren't installed, and no file should be missing from the list when the files are installed.
