FYI, I get the following when trying to build the new version in an 8.2-RELEASE i386 jail hosted on a 8.2-stable amd64 system:
http://people.freebsd.org/~dougb/net-snmp.log It seems to be related to: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=625985 which seems to have an idea about how to fix it.
