I just peeked at it, and I certainly see what you mean.
References to OS/2, Printing from DOS, Copying ports' distfiles from CD
media...
Lots of stuff to fix.  And maybe add a concise section on running X11
(probably simply referencing  the  Handbook's chapter, but also
mentioning  possible 'gotchas'  for  MS-Windows users).
