It may be subjective, but it becomes less subjective when a single-line spans on two rows (for example language selection) or words exceed the boxes' borders (for example security advisories): this means that the font is too big for this layout. *Personally* I prefer this size, but for me it's ok even a little bigger, *if* the text will correctly fit in the layout.
