Anyway. I don't think localization should stop us from implementing it,
but if someone will decide he wants to spend time on it, will be good to
at least try. I prefer "it was too hard/complex/unclean" over "ha!
didn't think of that".
I agree with phk, localization shouldn't hold up effort in this area.
However, if the interface supports counted (instead of NUL-terminated)
strings, I think this will provide a sufficient base to add localization
later. (NB: not an i18n guru)
