I think that if cURL (or somebody else) made an “official” cURL API that you could send POST requests to (and get the curl response back), cURL would instantly get multilingual support.

I don't understand what that means, but what's wrong with the binding I mention above? If there's anything missing there, isn't the better approach to file bugs or submit pull-requests to that project?
