The FAQ <https://gemini.circumlunar.space/docs/faq.html> details the
improvments over Gopher. For HTTP, note that 0.9 did not have "virtual
hosts" and did not have structured error codes, both are present in
Gemini. Also, Gemini comes with its own markup format, and does not
use HTML, unlike HTTP 0.9. The Web site
<https://gemini.circumlunar.space/> discusses these design choices.

But I assume this is not the place to discuss the Gemini system :-)
