I would like to build an updated libcurl library (7.71) for the QNX 6.5 system from the source code. Does anyone have any idea how to do it and where to start? Once I have downloaded the libcurl source code, how can I add the other libraries (SSL,c-ares,etc...) ? Is it an extremely complicated job or is it possible to do it? Is there a guide that explains how to do it?
I know people have built curl for QNX in the past but I have no idea what they did to accomplish that or what hoops they had to go through. If there were any changes necessary to make this happen, they were never contributed back to us.
If you have/check the sources for the first QNX port you might be able to figure some of that out. Other than that, I suppose you need to more or less do a new port from the start.
From what I understand, QNX has a fairly complete POSIX layer so the work might not be too hard.
