My Solaris box (same as my two Solaris autobuilds) seems to suppor it: $ krb5-config --cflags --libs gssapi -I/opt/csw/include -L/opt/csw/lib/sparcv9 -R/opt/csw/lib/sparcv9 -D_REENTRANT -lpthread -lintl -L/opt/csw/lib/sparcv9 -L/opt/csw/lib/64 -lgssapi_krb5 -lkrb5 -lk5crypto -lcom_err -lresolv -lsocket -lnsl -ldl This krb5-config is from the blastwave freeware package though - I'm not aware of any native variant.
