p + ul { margin-top: 0}
p + ul + li {margin-top: 0}
What IE is doing (it seems) is putting the UL inside the paragraph,
rather than outside the paragraph. So the default margins for
paragraphs and lists are taking effect. If you remove those
margins, you'll get something that looks the same.
