It helps to state what browser version (there are a lot of them) of IE is
giving a problem. I guess you mean IE/5.01.
Try changing the CSS in the IE 5 conditional comment to read:
.thrColFixHdr #header {height: 1%;}
.thrColFixHdr #sidebar1 { width: 180px; }
.thrColFixHdr #sidebar2 { width: 190px; margin-left: 0; }
